This handsome boy is Talky, a 1-year-old Shepherd mix who just can`t wait to find his forever human to love and cherish!
Talky is much more than his adorable satellite ears and expressive, golden eyes. He is a smart, loyal boy who longs for the day that he has a person to bond to and enjoy life to it`s fullest with. He is a smart pup and already knows lots of tricks like sit, down, and shake. Always eager to please, Talky is attentive, curious, and lovable.
Talky is said to have lived well with other dogs (including small breed dogs) in his previous home and is loving around children, though he can be a bit nervous at first and would benefit from time and space to warm up to his new humans.

The Adoption Center is open M,T,Th,Fr from 12-7pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12-5pm. The Shelter is closed to the public on Wednesdays.

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
