Shya is a 1 year 3-month-old petite Shepherd mix, weighing about 28lbs. She was found as a stray and taken to a shelter where she was due to be euthanized but was saved by an emergency foster at the last minute. She now needs her forever home as soon as possible.
Shya is very sweet and loving, but timid at first and just needs a little time to warm up to people (it only took an hour or so for her to settle into her foster home). Once she does, she will be your cuddle-bug-best-friend-Velcro-dog! Treats and belly rubs are the way to her heart.
Shya gets on well with other dogs. Submissive and cautious at first, she loves to chase and be chased by small dogs, or dogs her own size. Wrestling is also great fun! She is good with large, chill dogs, but scared of boisterous dogs, or dogs that bark continually. She is smart and has a lovely temperament. She would make a wonderful addition to the right individual/family.

Come to our adoption event and meet the dog you are interested in adopting or fill out our adoption application.

Submit Application
After you've met the dog then you fill out our adoption application. If your application is approved we'll let you know.

Approve Application
If your application is approved then we set up the home check adoption.
4.
Home Check
Then there is a home check that is when we bring the dog to the new home and if everything looks safe we leave the dog.

Pay Fee
At the home check that is when you pay the adoption fee.
