My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Mia, although my foster mom has nicknamed me MiMi.

I'm a red heeler mix found with my sister, Maple, on the side of the highway, as a pup. I was adopted and very happy in my home until my mom and dad hit some serious financial difficulties so now I am with my new foster mom and dad and their two dogs. I kennel on command and am housetrained. I had kids in my prior home whom I loved. I love human attention and unstuffing toys. Squirrels in the backyard fascinate me, and I enjoy my foster brothers, even though they are unsure about me since I am over twice their size at 43 lbs. I'm not sure what I am other than red heeler, but my foster mom says I am rather calm compared to the other heelers she has known. In fact, my foster mom says I am the best-behaved dog in her house. I hope to meet my forever family soon!
