Hi ya world, my name is Jewel. I'm here in a search for a family, a home... one I can call my very own. I've had a pretty hard life up til now but am on my way to soft beds and a carefree life... and since you're reading this, maybe it'll be with YOU?!!
I'm around 2 years old and come in at around 40ish lbs, a stockier build but with shorter lil legs. No matter what has happened before I'm still a very very happy and social gal that has a heart of gold!! I love people both tall and small (I have that very nurturing nature), other dogs, even cats and chickens. I've got that outgoing bubbly personality that just draws people in...you can't help but want to give me hugs and kisses and I'm all for that, anytime!!!
I love going for walks but don't need to run a marathon. I'm more content just getting lovins from my people. I would make a pawsomely fantastic addition to just about any family even a first time pet parent.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
