My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brody was brought into the vet office that we use and was requested euthanasia by his owners. The vet office didn't see any aggressive behavior while he was there so they took over ownership of Brody. We then agreed to take him in and find him a new home. After speaking with his previous owners we found out Brody had went after his owner two different times but has never done that behavior before or towards anyone else but her. She loved him very much but couldn't understand by his sudden behavior change towards her. We are watching him and seeing if there are any triggers or such to be found. So far Brody has been wonderful and is super playful. Been fine around the other dogs here as well. Loves to play fetch and will sit for a treat. Brody will be up for adoption once we are confident in his behaviors. He is neutered, up to date, and house trained.

Our hours are Monday-Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10-3, Thursday and Sunday Closed.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only 2 employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
