Hi,
I purchased Maverick when he was 6 weeks old from a local breeder in Raleigh, NC. He has always been an inside dog who is crate trained, and had a fenced in backyard for exercise. He was neutered and then sent to professional training for 2 weeks when he was around six months old. The training was beneficial in terms of obedience but he began showing signs of aggression towards those who do not live in the home. I don't allow Maverick to interact with friends or family who visit my house, as he may become protective of me and/or defend the house. This makes traveling or leaving the house for extended periods almost impossible because I don't trust that he will not be aggressive towards a dog sitter in my absence.
I am hoping to find Maverick a home with a new owner who is comfortable with German Shepards and can mitigate any potential aggression through a level o
