My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Ellaree born 10/1/21 whose life started out grimly after she seemed to hitch a ride in a car engine. We really don't know how she survived after having two broken legs on one side and her tail ripped off, but she did!!! And she came out of it with a beautiful personality and is a lap cat extraordinaire. She is your love bug but does not want to share with any other furry friends. Great with children. She does have FIV which we all know after education that this is not a major issue and with a good home environment these kitties can live a normal life span, with no problem.

Animal Rescue Carolina (ARC) is a no-kill,501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is four-fold: 1) to promote spay-neuter, 2) to restore stray animals to good medical health, before adopting them into permanent, loving homes, 3) to encourage Trap, Neuter, and Return(TNR) and, 4) to educate pet owners about their responsibilities as guardians for their companion animals.
