Hello, I`m Comet. I`m a bit of a goofball, full of wiggles, and I love to play. Sometimes, I can be a little shy, especially when I`m in a new place. I get nervous easily, but once I warm up, I`m the sweetest dog you`ll ever meet. I`m looking for a patient, loving family who will help me feel safe and secure. I promise to return the love tenfold. We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.

Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year.
