My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Beau and I am a very handsome purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi, AKC registered as Bohemian Rhapsody. I was born on 3/11/21 in a breeder's home, as a pet/stud and sired several litters before some family turmoil turned our life upside down. I am grateful I was loved enough to be surrendered to 4 Little Paws, knowing I would find an awesome life with an awesome family, somewhere in or near Connecticut. I have now been neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and with my DNA & Health report, I am ready to get the heck out of Texas!

I am such a sweet boy, friendly with everyone, from kids to seniors, and friendly with kitty cats and other dogs. I may be an adult but I still get the zoomies and you should see my stubby little legs go and my fluffy corgi-butt/nub tail waggling behind me. My foster mom says I’m nosey, investigating everything, and always wanting to see/supervise what’s going on. I enjoy walks to the park and road trips in the car, looking out the window as we travel. Sometimes we go to Home Depot and I walk the isles beside her like a little gentleman, attracting all kinds of attention from all the people oohing and aahing and everyone has to pet me. I know I’m adorable! I’m also affectionate and enjoy snuggling on the couch beside her while we watch TV, but it takes me a few practice bounces before I can jump up. I’m just silly and funny to watch in every way! I’m well-behaved and housebroken. I know how to use a doggy door if you have one, and I only bark when I need to alert you. Yep, I’m a good boy and a sweetheart and I know my future will be amazing. I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today and bring me home!

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
