Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE TEXT/CALL DAWN 610-787-2353 OR EMAIL US FOR AN APPLICATION AT dawnleemcmahon@gmail.com. Those interested will be required to fill out an application AND sign a contract that we enforce to have her spayed vetted etc.
Jacksonville, NC. Leia is a 1 year old female saint bernard (AKC reg.). Needs to be spayed, only has up to date rabies vaccine. Approximately 120lb. Good with chickens and geese. Slight prey drive with cats, but it's play (chased indoor cats once or twice and had play pounced at them). She is crate trained and potty trained. Knows sit, down, stay, wait, 5, heal, come, roll over. She is toy driven and play driven. Stubborn but easy to train. She has been great with 2 male giant breed dogs. Submissive in play. Has not played with stranger dogs but has not chased, or approached the neighbors dogs. She goes potty outside in an open property with no leash and has trainable boundaries, but fenced yard or leash walked is ideal for a new home. She is initially aloof with strangers, but once given a treat or pet she just rolls over. She has been slightly jumpy for love with the neighboring teenagers. She has not been around small children.
She also doesn't jump on furniture or chew things up. A bit of a drooler but not nearly as bad as I've seen. She really is a sweetheart with a big, big heart. She's crazy intelligent and used to use the talking buttons. She stomped them too hard out of excitement and broke them lol
It isn't the dog. Truly. She has had to spend so much time in crate and we can't give her what she needs. I paid $3k and am 100% fine with getting nothing but her in a good home. It's genuinely one of those situations we never could have seen coming. She's a good dog. The best dog. And she's going to make someone so incredibly happy. She is going to have an amazing transition because she's just THAT GOOD. This is the first time I haven't been responsible with the shots, too. It's like everything got chaotic after we got her. We kept pushing it off because my cat needed emergency surgery, and then needed neuter, and we had just moved an hour away and didn't have a vet established, etc.
