Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
What do a bunny, a flying squirrel, and a cat have in common? Well, all three of them were Slightly's roommates - and the four of them got along great! Slightly is truly a special pup: even when his owners left him alone in the home with their small animals, Slightly never harmed a hair on their heads. In the past Slightly hasn't gotten along well with other dogs, but he seems to thrive amongst smaller animals.
Slightly's owners had to surrender him to the shelter when he became too big and strong for them to manage. They described him as energetic, affectionate, loyal, and super snuggly - Slightly is the best cuddle buddy and loves to curl up next to you in bed or on the couch! Because of his energy level, we think he'd thrive in a home with a yard or a space where he gets lots of exercise consistently. Slightly already knows sit, lay down, shake, and come, so he's a really smart boy! But he's 70 pounds and doesn't know his size, so he could still benefit from a bit of training, especially to teach him not to pull on his leash - he's really strong!
