Hey there, I'm Rico! You know, my life took a hilarious twist when I tried to outsmart a squirrel. I saw it, it saw me, and it was game on. But, guess what? That cheeky critter led me straight into this shelter! Now, I'm not complaining, I've got plenty of friends here, but I do miss the thrill of the chase. But hey, every cloud has a silver lining! I've learned a few tricks here, like how to sit, stay, and most importantly, how not to chase squirrels! I'm a fun-loving guy who's ready to bring joy and laughter to your life. More about this rescue

Lost Paws Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer based organization dedicated to the welfare, care and adoption of abandoned and homeless animals. We also provide educational materials that will help pet owners with their animals. All of our animals are kept in foster homes. We also have rescue animals in need of medical care.

We do this because we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in the community. We hope to do this through education, being an advocate for the animals, endeavoring to reduce animals over population (spay/neutering) and preventing animal cruelty.
