Meet Rusty! Born around July 17th, 2024, Rusty is a Hound/Boxer mix expected
to weigh around 40-50 lbs when fully grown. He's a playful, gentle, and
friendly puppy who loves to cuddle and explore. Rusty enjoys toys, playing
in the dirt, anything that crinkles, snuggling up for affection, and of
course, treats! He's not too fond of brooms or vacuums, but he's otherwise
easygoing and adaptable. Rusty has a funny habit of placing his paws on you
when you're sitting on the ground, and if you don't play with him right
away, he'll nudge or softly whine until you give in to his charm. This sweet
boy is doing great with house training and will sit by the door when he
needs to go out, making the process easier for his future family. Due to his
young age, Rusty would do best in a home where someone is around more often
to help with his training and give him plenty of attention. While Rusty
hasn't had much interaction with children, his gentle and playful nature
would make him a great fit for kids aged 8 and older. He gets along well
with other dogs, though he may bark or bound with excitement until he
settles into playtime. Rusty would thrive in an active home with a family
who is ready to provide love, attention, and plenty of playtime. He's
suitable for first-time pet owners, as his easygoing personality makes him
an ideal companion for anyone. A fenced yard would be great for Rusty, as he
loves to explore and roam. He is current on vaccines, and his adoption fee
