My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Newman is an approximately 3 month old mixed breed puppy who came to us on 10/6/2024 with two littermates. They were all found together as strays and never claimed. We heard through the grapevine that they're a mix of German shorthaired pointer, catahoula, and Cane Corso. Norton is a happy, healthy, and affectionate puppy. His adoption fee of $150 covers his basic vet care - distemper/parvo combo vaccinations, rabies vaccination, and neuter surgery (when age appropriate).

As a puppy, Norton will require basic training in all areas. He's at a great age to start this and is eager to please. He's looking for a home in which he won't be left alone for long hours. We do expect him to be a larger dog at maturity. He should do well with other animals and kids.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved.  Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails after you apply.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
