Shaggy was rescued from a high kill shelter near LA. He was running out of time when he got rescued. His foster mom can't stop saying wonderful thing about him. If you are looking for a "good boy", Shaggy is the one for you! He is woking on his potty training skills and might need some training in a new home. He is gentle and loving and all he wants is to cuddle and give you kisses! He likes meeting new people, his little tail never stops wagging! He's met a few cats and had no reaction towards them and can live with cats.
Shaggy is cute, charming and easy going. He gets along well with people, other dogs (big or small). He enjoys going for walks or hang out with other dogs in a park. He has moderate energy level, not a hyper dog. Shaggy likes the company of other dogs so another dog in the home will be good but not necessary, he is equally happy as a solo dog. Shaggy is looking for his forever home. Please adopt him!

Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs.
