My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ferris, a 5-month-old who's looking for his purr-fect forever home 🎬🐾 Ferris is a righteous dude and gentle soul that's ready to be loved! He's sharing a cage with his brother Cameron, these two might say "life moves pretty fast," but they need someone patient who can help them take it slow. 🐱💤

Ferris is a bit nervous and shy right now, but with the right family to guide him, he'll soon be ready to embrace the world with "a little more fun." 🎡 He and Cameron both need some socializing, but we believe they can become the stars of your home with just a little time and TLC. 💕✨

If you've got a soft spot for underdogs and want to help these two grow, they'll "thank you...for your warmth and compassion" in no time. Come visit Cameron and Ferris today, and maybe you'll be the lucky one to show them what life's really all about! 🏡💖

More about this shelter

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.

For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.

The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.

Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
