Finnegan is a fantastic friend and wants just to be one of the family. He is very high energy and is a lover. He always wants attention and no matter the time of day or night, he is going to follow you everywhere. He is very high alert and protective. We adopted him when he was about 2 years old from an apartment owner, and he never really had training as a pup. When we got him, he had some skin issues, but after about a year of trial and error and a bunch of vet visits, we narrowed it down to a food allergy and got him all cleared up.
The reason we have to look at rehoming is because I travel for work a lot, and he is too high energy and protective, for my wife to be comfortable with. When he meets new people he is nervous and very skid-dish at first, but after a few hours he’s licking and loving them and not wanting them to leave.
He is about 5 years young, and just needs a family that can pay him the attention he deserves.
Lives with small dog, no issues.
