Age: 2 years old Located in a foster home in NJ
Weight: 20 lbs
Vet Record: 100% vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, female
Say hello to delightful Mia! This loving, petite girl adores giving kisses and will happily jump and wag her tail to show her affection—she's the perfect lap dog. Mia is already housebroken, crate trained, and has excellent house manners. At just 20 lbs, she’s the perfect size to take anywhere with you!
Mia absolutely LOVES walks and car rides! She’s great with other dogs and cats, but she does show leash reactivity when meeting other dogs on walks, so she needs some training in that area.
She’s smart and food-motivated—she’ll happily sit when you ask and is excited to learn new things. Mia will become very attached to her humans and would love to be by your side all the time.
Rescued in Ukraine, Mia is currently in a foster home in NY. Submit your application today, and get ready to meet Mia!

Note: Sochi Dogs Rescue works on a foster to adopt model. All of our adopters have a 1-week trial period to decide if the dog is the right match for you. Should you decide the adoption is not working out, you can notify us within the first week and we will coordinate a time to take the dog back into a foster home and issue a refund of the adoption fee minus $75.

Additional adoption info
Sochi Dogs is a non-profit animal rescue that works closely with adopters to help them find the perfect addition to their families. All of our dogs are vetted, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
Dog ownership is a long-term commitment so we take our adopters’ needs very seriously. We work on a foster to adopt basis, which allows adopters to get to know their new dog in a relaxed family setting.
For us, the most important things are finding the right family for the right dog. As long as it’s a good match we’re happy to adopt a dog out of state.
Fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website (http://www.sochidogs.org/adoption-inquiry/) and one of our volunteers will give you a call to help match you with your perfect k-9 companion!
We look forward to getting to know you!
