Howdy folks, my name is Cheese which may seem like a weird name until you learn that one of my brothers' name is Mac, making us Mac & Cheese! I am from a litter of 7 Dachshund mix puppies, 5 with “ordinary” Dachshund legs, and Mac and I have really cool long legs. Yep, we are certainly special and unique as long-legged Dachshunds, LOL! We were all surrendered to an animal shelter in Uvalde Texas and when another rescue took our 5 siblings with short legs and left us 2 behind, 4 Little Paws Rescue was more than happy to take us in and get us ready to find awesome forever homes!

I am a sweet and happy boy with dreamy brown eyes, 16 weeks old, and just 12 lbs. I make friends easily with all humans and other dogs, and I enjoy playtime and puppy toys. I’m gentle and cuddly, love pets and kisses, and I love my people. I'm doing very well with potty training, and my foster mom says I am very nice with other dogs and not annoying like some puppies can be. Since Mac was just adopted, now it’s my turn. I recently moved to Connecticut so you can easily stop by to meet me, fall in love, and bring me home!
