Zena is between 1-2 years of age and weighs 14 pounds. She is a very sweet girl, and loves snuggling on your lap and taking a nap. She is doing well on potty training, although she may have a few accidents when first going to a new home. She is going to take some time adjusting to her new people, so just be patient with her. Zena needs to be the only dog; we are unsure of kids so older children would be the best fit for her. She’s doing great with sitting and waiting to be fed.

Hi, My name is Marianna. 15 years ago during my last trimester of my pregnancy, I have rescued 5 m old puppy pit bull, who was emaciated, locked in the shed, and under socialized. 2 weeks later, the puppy has prevented me from drifting into diabetic coma by waking me up while I was laying on the couch. I named him 2nd Chance, or Chancey, or Momma' Boy. As much as I have saved him, he has saved our then unborn daughter and also me.

When my daughter turned 5 months old, I have decided to start rescuing pit bulls from the public, and also, the shelters. My life has been changed forever by rescuing the most abused and neglected breed in US. I feel that now my life has a purpose. Today, I am a mom, Human Resources Professional, friend, and the Rescuer. I am honored to be able to rescue fur kids and find them great homes.
