Zena is believed to be around 2 years old. We think she is a Maltese/Doxie mix. She is very sweet and loving. She may take some time getting used to a new place. Once you are her person and she trusts you, she will always be with you. She loves all the cuddles and closeness she can get. Zena loves sleeping on your bed at night. She will try to be up by your head, you just must be persistent about where she needs to be. She does pretty good with going outside to potty. Taking her outside every little bit will help with that. She does know how to use a doggy door. She would do great as the only dog due to she wants all the attention. She does like to be around other dogs though so one dog might be a good thing to give her a playmate. Best to be a dog that is not going to fight for dominance because when she is scared, she will growl at them and then the other dog that is dominant will growl back and they both won’t back down. When new people come around, she might be timid around them but slowly come around. She will make a wonderful companion for someone out there.
