My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From the owner:
"I'm devastated to have to give Phoebe up, but I hope she will find a loving new home for the holidays. Phoebe is around 2 and a half years old and was a rescue as a kitten. She's been living in a home with other cats, but has been getting kind of beat up on lately. My older cat has been getting more aggressive with her and it's not fair to Phoebe. Phoebe herself is great with other cats, but tends to be more submissive. I'm sure she would love to be someone's only pet, but would also do good with another chill cat who wouldn't push her around too much.

She's gentle and cuddly, but is young enough that she's also still playful (without being overly crazy.) I think she'd do well with kids who are a little on the older side who can respect her space (maybe 7-8+). I think with really young kids, she might be a little nervous and prefer to hide.

Phoebe gets regular nail trims and is pretty good about sitting still for them. Sometimes she gets a little squirmy, but she's not very difficult like some cats can be. She's just a really sweet, loving companion, and deserves a home where she doesn't have to be afraid of another animal bullying her."

More about this rescue

Feral Folk was originally founded to rescue and spread awareness about mislabeled shelter cats, and to promote TNR efforts for true ferals. We currently provide TNR services to the New London, WI area, and can assist in transporting barn cats to spay/neuter clinics.

While intakes of friendly adoptables are currently closed, we are happy to share courtesy posts for community members in need of finding a new home for their cats. Reach out to feralfolkmail@gmail.com or find us on Facebook if you want to submit a courtesy post.
