Meet Teddy, a 4-year-old, male, Shih Tzu and terrier mix. He weighs 20 lbs. Teddy was surrendered by a family who loved him a lot, but their circumstances recently changed, making caring for him difficult. Teddy is very uneasy at the shelter with all the noises and dogs and people coming and going. When he gets out of the chaos and into a quiet spot, he really warms up and likes cuddles. He really just wants human love, reassurance, and attention. Teddy enjoys all types of toys. He is reportedly fearful of other dogs, but would be open to meeting other calm dogs if you have them in your home. He can be kitty-tested if requested.
