Have you ever seen a sweeter face than this one? Copper is a 9-year-old female Beagle who was surrendered because her parent’s health prevented them from caring for her. She weighs 28 lbs. Copper is a smart girl and has spent many years hunting pheasant (apparently, she is quite good at it), but she is happy to spend her remaining years relaxing inside on a couch or cozy dog bed. Copper is a very friendly, easy-going girl. She loves people. She’s lived with another dog and seems unphased by the other dogs at the shelter. Copper enjoys going on slow walks and putting her sniffer to work. She also enjoys car rides. Copper would be fine in a home with children and can be cat-tested if requested.
