My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kinda what we imagine a princess might look like from Frozen, Aria is a gorgeous white retriever mix who catches your eye immediately and is ready to catch a ride home with you! Aria is an adult who weighs about 40+ lbs full grown. This gal has a good healthy energy and is definitely athletic and can run and romp with the best of them. She would love an active home and people who will go, do and explore with her. She does not shy away from much and would be up for whatever your wanderlust brings her way. Aria is good on a leash and has lots of fun with other dogs. She will be a shoe in for training of any kind and looks forward to showing off her brains as well as her beauty. She really IS as gorgeous as she looks but come see for yourself!
**Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "She got along well with all the other dogs and people around her during the hike. Her one funny trait - she wanted to be the leader of the pack. She settled down nicely on the hike once she got in front of all the other dogs".

Additional adoption info

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.

We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
