My name is Phoebe - Local!

Meet Phoebe! This sweet, middle-aged lady was surrendered to the West Memphis Animal Shelter along with her housemate Piper (who’s also up for adoption) after their owner passed away. They spent quite some time at the shelter before coming into our care.

While initially thought to be a bonded pair, Phoebe and Piper are quite independent. They don't interact much and happily play with other dogs. They’re separated at night with no issues, but if you're looking to adopt two sweet girls, we’re open to it!

Phoebe is incredibly affectionate and loves spending time outdoors. Phoebe is very laid-back, and while she likes interacting with other pups, she's not overly playful. She's a bigger fan of the couch and cuddling with you. She walks well on the leash and is fully house-trained.

Phoebe has double ACL tears. Paws New England will cover the cost of surgery at one of our partner vets.
