MEET ROCKY, a 1-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves both humans and dogs alike! He weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where his person or people work from home, or are retired, as he loves company. He'd also thrive in a home with another dog, though it's not a necessity. We are a registered 501c3 animal rescue organization in the State of California. We adopt out dogs in Southern California and in the Pacific Northwest, and in some cases we work with rescue partners in specific locations, to help facilitate adoptions.
