My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there future human!

I’m Navy Wigglebutt, a 9-month-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix, and let me tell you, life with me is like being the star of a rom-com where every day is a new adventure. I’m a happy-go-lucky pup on a mission to make the world my playground, and I’m looking for a partner-in-crime who’s up for some serious fun!

Now, if you’re wondering what I’m like, picture this: I’m like a fluffy cloud with a dash of mischief, always eager to meet new friends—both human and canine! Seriously, I’m the social butterfly of the dog park. If there are other dogs around, I’ll be the one bouncing off the walls with excitement, ready for a game of tag or a good old-fashioned wrestle. I might not need a buddy to have fun, but having one would just make my shenanigans even more epic! I’m great with kids, though I can get a little bouncy, so if you have a little linebacker at home, we’ll be a perfect match! As for the cats, let’s just say I’m a little too curious for their liking. I mean, who could resist the urge to chase something that moves? But don’t worry; I promise I’m not a cat-tastrophe waiting to happen—just a playful soul who thinks every creature could be a potential friend!

Let’s talk about my car skills. I may still need a little boost to hop in, but once I’m in, I’ll be the world’s best co-pilot. I’ll lay down in the backseat like a pro while we zoom around town, just keeping an eye on the scenery—and maybe barking at the occasional squirrel. When it comes to walks, I’m basically a canine explorer. I’m all about those leash adventures, soaking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the great outdoors. Hiking? Count me in! I’m the furry version of a GPS—always ready to take the road less traveled!

As for my energy level, let’s just say I’m playful but know how to chill too. I love toys, especially the crinkly ones that make all the fun noises. And while I might occasionally dig at the dirt like a treasure hunter, my real mission is to be your loyal sidekick, ready to accompany you on all of life’s adventures.

Now, I’m not saying I have a PhD in obedience, but I’m definitely treat-motivated and eager to learn. With a little guidance, I’ll be the star pupil of our training sessions—think of me as the doggie version of a “straight-A” student, but with more wiggles and less homework. Oh, you bet your favorite pair of socks I’m potty trained! You can count on me to make it to the great outdoors for my business—no embarrassing slip-ups here! Oh, and we can’t forget to chat about my current obsession: chewing! Yep, I’m in my “let’s gnaw on everything” stage, which is basically like having a toddler who just discovered the joys of a crayon box—everything looks like a drawing canvas. I’m pretty good at sticking to my toys, but I can’t resist a rogue stick I find in the backyard or, you know, that water hose that’s just begging for attention. I have so much fun playing in the water when my foster mom uses it, so can you blame me for thinking that me chewing on it would yield me some of that lovely water? News flash...it didn't! My foster mom says it’s all part of growing up, and while I’m just trying to perfect my gnawing skills, I’m learning that some things, like your favorite sandals, are definitely off-limits. With a little guidance and patience (and a steady supply of toys), I promise I’ll grow out of this phase and become the well-mannered companion you’ve always dreamed of. Until then, just know that my chewing adventures are all part of the charm that comes with adopting my handsome self.

So, if you’re looking for a fluffy bundle of joy who will always be ready for a snuggle session, an outdoor escapade, or even just a Netflix binge with you (and let you know when something exciting happens on screen), look no further. I’m Navy Wigglebutt, and I’m ready to fill your life with endless love, laughs, and tail-wagging happiness. Let’s embark on this journey together, as long as you understand that I fully intend to be your "forever dog" and not just an "until dog". I deserve better than that, and just because life changes doesn't mean you need to toss me out! I would never do that to you, so please don't do that to me. I just don't know that my heart could take it. ❤️🐾

With lots of love
Navy Wigglebuttt <3
