My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET BEAUTIFUL BETTY! Betty is a 1-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix in need of a foster or forever home! She was rescued from a high-kill California shelter in the nick of time. She was urgent because she had caught a doggy cold, but now has recuperated! Betty had a kennel mate at the shelter, and she is good with other dogs, male and female. She is also a small girl -- about 40 lbs -- and is a wonderful size for a home, a condo or an apartment. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this girl, please email for an application.

More about this rescue

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization that saves hundreds of dogs and cats annually. We are an all-breed rescue, and do not shy away from tough cases. We believe all animals deserve a chance at a happy life, and we do our best to match people with their new pets. Every time a dog is adopted, it makes room for another needy dog, most often in an overcrowded shelter.

We adopt dogs/cats to people on the West Coast but also to other states as well, as we believe that animal lovers are everywhere! Please consider adopting one of our wonderful dogs or cats.
