"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June." - L.M. Montgomery
With a fun-loving girl like June as the newest member of your family, you won't have to wonder! She's guaranteed to make each day bright, and is always ready to greet you with a smile as warm as the month she's named after.
At four years old, June found herself here with us through no fault of her own after she was surrendered when her previous owner moved. Despite this drastic change, June has been navigating each new day like a champ and has been charming the hearts of everyone who's met her! She's a friendly pup who has yet to meet a stranger, and her social skills also extend to other dogs -- she'd be happy to share her future home with a canine sibling. However, she does prefer female dogs! She lived harmoniously with another dog in her previous home and has also enjoyed multiple visits to doggy daycare, proving herself to be open to multiple play styles. (We are unsure how she feels about cats at the moment, so we recommend slow and structured introductions.)
June is also housebroken and crate-trained! One of her most favorite things to do is play ball, making her an ideal playmate and a fun, active companion. June also tends to think that seeing if she can jump fences is also another fun game, so it is very important that she go out with you on a leash or a long-lead, even if you have a fenced-in yard! We do believe that June would also make an excellent companion for a person or family who lives in an apartment.
If this little Junebug looks like your perfect best friend, stop on by during our open hours or submit an application today! With her sunny disposition, she's sure to make her future family's everyday life brighter.
