Cool Hand Luke!!

We’re excited to introduce you to Cool Hand Luke - a 5-1/2 month old heartbreaker who just happens to be a polydactyl!

Luke has a gorgeous white with black short coat, and the most beautiful amber eyes ever!  He has a little black heart under his chin and an adorable white tip at the end of his tail.  We can’t forget his big paws for which he is named!    Luke  adores his foster mama and she tells us he’s a real love bug.   He cuddles in her bed at night along with her dog and one of her cats.  She said he is just a sweetie.  He has great litter box habits and is learning about scratching posts.   At the writing of this bio, he still has his baby teeth, but is a big kitten.  Don’t let his size fool you!  He’s still a baby!

Luke is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is FIV/FeLV negative.  He was found outside by his foster mom, and was under socialized.   When he goes to his new home he will need time to settle in and get to know his new people.    He is not outgoing with people he doesn’t know, but that can change over time as he gets settled in.   Luke definitely needs to go to a home where he will have another young, playful kitty to pal around with.  He can live with a gentle, calm dog.   Older, respectful children with kitty experience would probably be fine, but young children would more than likely scare him.

This sweet kitty requires an indoor-only home, and as with all cats, there is a no-declaw agreement.  Minnesota residents only please. Since Furball Farm gives many cats forever homes they are always in need of Scoopable cat Litter, canned cat food, and cleaning supplies. Items purchased at PetSmart in Faribault can be left at the store and they will contact us for pick up. We appreciate any help we can get and so do the cats!!! Thank you!! Our goal is to be a sanctuary for cats who are not adoptable and to find loving homes for those who are. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!! Adoption fees vary from $50.00 to 150.00.

You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us.

We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).
