Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet torti-girl Penn! Pretty Penn, her three siblings (Cornelius, Crescent, & Morgan) and her mom (Nesbit) were living in an abandoned building and were so hungry that they were all trapped within 40 minutes.
Penn is a little shy at first but is very food motivated. She enjoys pets if you first offer her some wet food. Come on! Do you expect her to give out her love for free? We feel that she is worth that little extra work. She is still learning to play with her foster mom but will follow her around during meal times, rubbing all over her legs while purring loudly. Penn also loves lounging in the cat trees, on the cat shelves or in some blankets up high with her brother, Crescent, or sister, Morgan. She is a calm, sweet girl that loves to be with her siblings and cat foster friends and will need to be adopted with one of them or into a home with another confident and friendly cat to help her come out of her shell!
Penn can be a little shy at first with people she does not know but warms up quickly, especially if she is bribed with wet food. She will need to start in a small room until she is comfortable in her new home. She does not seem to mind her foster mom's dogs and will likely do well with other respectful dogs with proper introductions. We also feel Penn would do well with older, cat savvy children.
Penn is almost seven months old. She has been spayed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. If you think Penn is the cat for you, apply to adopt today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
