My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willow is beautiful and approximately 18-24 month old. She is a medium haired Retriever Mix.  She is a friendly gal who loves to play in the pool and would do well with older kids. She would love to have a fenced in backyard too!  Willow has been going through training and is doing well on a leash.  Willow is UTD and spayed. She is heartworm positive but undergoing treatment.  Willow loves people interaction and is a sweetie!

Additional adoption info

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
