My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jade (A132510) is a 1-year-and-3-month-old German Shepherd mix who weighed 58.2 pounds on intake!

10/04/24 This sweet, energetic gal is Jade! Jade was surrendered back to the shelter because her owner had some life changes that prevented them from giving her the attention that she needed and deserved. Jade was noted to be a super chewer and, if left unsupervised, can be destructive. She is looking for an owner who can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated and out of trouble! Also, providing her with appropriate chew toys would make her very happy! Jade did previously live with another dog and was said to do well! Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends! Jades does like to jump up on people and would highly benefit from some additional training with a certified trainer. She is a smart girl and, with a little direction, is eager to learn! If you are interested in meeting this happy-go-lucky girl, please let us know!

10/04/23 This cute litter of puppies are primarily German Shepherds with a splash of Rottweiler and Golden Retriever. These pups have had a jump start on kennel training and potty training. They all did car sick on the ride to the shelter so their new owner should be aware of this. They were described as being outgoing and friendly puppies. They were said to do amazing with babies, children, and strangers! They can be a bit shy when meeting new dogs so please ensure you are doing appropriate introductions. They have no history with cats but were said to have demonstrated a high prey drive towards chickens. Please keep in mind that puppies are a lot of work and require time, energy, and patience. We encourage you to bring your new pup to a basic obedience class. If you are interested in meeting any of these little ladies, please let us know!October 16, 2024, 10:50 pm
