My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rabbit, a high-energy, bouncy Border Collie mix with a flow that never stops! This small but mighty dog is jumpy and always ready to hop into action. Whether it's tearing up agility courses or running like he's on a world tour, Rabbit's all about that hustle. He needs an active lifestyle, a yard with a tall fence or enclosed run, and a home that can match his non-stop rhythm.

Rabbit's intense play style calls for a doggy homie who can keep up with his vibe-no chill here, just pure energy. He's super food motivated, but heads up-he's known to guard his meals, so he'll need someone who can work with him on that behavior. Though he's done well with kids in the past, Rabbit's looking for an adult-only home where he can get the structure, training, and respect he deserves. Rabbit will truly shine, being front stage and center!

Think you can handle this dog's fast-paced flow and work through his challenges? Rabbit's ready to hit the mic (or the park) with you!

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst
