DOB 4/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Rock, a very sweet, friendly, outgoing, affectionate, and playful “bicolor” gal who loves to be around my foster pawrents as well as the resident big dog. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with dark gray on my head, back, and tail. As my photo testifies, I love to climb on a big uphostered chair and look adorable as I hug its back. I also love playing soccer with anything that rolls – my jingle-bell plastic balls, paper wads, or even tennis balls.
A San Marcos Good Samaritan noticed me when I was about five weeks old as I wandered around the apartment dumpster and tried to find food. Of course he fell in love with me and, because my momma and siblings were nowhere in sight, he brought me inside to safety. Since there were a lot of gray rocks near the dumpster, he christened me Rock, even though I’m a sweet and dainty female. He reluctantly admitted that he shouldn’t keep me, so his mom in Houston became my foster meowmy and promised to find me a fantastic family who’ll love me just as much as he did.
Now I’m all ready to find my forever home. Although I’m pretty overwhelmed at the noise and chaos during adoption events, once I’m back home where I feel comfy, I’m my typical easy-to-approach, playful, and congenial self. Although I haven’t been around cats in my foster home, I’ve done great with the big dog and all ages of hoomans – adults and kids -- in my foster home.
If you’re looking for a beautifully marked kitty who loves people and giant dogs, I’m the gal for you! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Arrange to meet me today!
HOPE ID 24-1012-S080

If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.
