Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Individuals or families interested in adopting an animal must complete a brief Meet Your Match assessment before entering the adoption areas. Interested adopters are strongly encouraged to spend time outside the kennel with their pet before adopting. After the office staff screens the application, a surgery date is scheduled for the animal to be spayed or neutered before it will be placed in its new home. If the animal has already been altered, it can usually go home the same day! Otherwise, a date and time is established for the adopters to pick-up their new family member. If a placement is felt to not be in the best interest of the animal, the adoption will be denied.
