Dog's Name: Baby Pinky (PIN1024ALAFD)
Estimated Breed: Lab / Bulldog mix
Approximate Age: 14 weeks
Approximate Weight: 20 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet amazing Pinky! Pinky has a sad story. She came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama in very poor condition, as you can see from one of her photos. After being rescued and given a new chance at life, Pinky has made a full recovery and is a healthy and happy puppy. She is now ready to find her people. Could that be you? Despite a rough start to life, Pinky is friendly and affectionate, but needs some time to warm up to new people. It is truly extraordinary how resilient and forgiving dogs can be, and Pinky is just that. She loves other dogs and is very sweet and playful. At her young age, Pinky is in her prime for training and socialization. She is also very smart too! With all of Pinky's wonderful characteristics and friendly nature she will do well in any home. What more are you waiting for? Submit an application today and give this very deserving girl the home of her dreams.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
