Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Derecho also known as MamaD came to her current foster home by chance. We aren't completely sure of her story but She was previously abandoned. She is a wonderful mother to 5 beautiful kittens and is now ready to move onto her next adventure. She has a beautiful tabby and white coat and likes to cuddle or chase wand toys with her kittens. She does seem to get nervous and jumpy if her foster mom is standing and reaches down to pet her. It is possibly she was not treated well in her previous home so she is most comfortable if you let her come to you. If you sit down she will be happy to crawl up on your lap or sit next to you and she has a strong purr motor to match. She spends most of her time with her kittens in her own room but she has met the other cats in her foster home and is completely at ease with them. She would be best in a home without young children due to her skittish nature with loud noises and fast movements. She's just looking for that perfect place to call home.
