Meet Happy💘
Happy spent a long period living in neglect after being stuck within the fence of an old junkyard in Jeonju. Happy was looked for by a civilian for over a year amidst the owner's neglect. But after the junkyard was shut down, Happy's owner abandoned him. The civilian kept asking for Happy's rescue, and Adogs came to his aid. Happy is currently residing at the Adogs Center after receiving training at the training center to enhance his social skills with other dogs.
* Compatibility with people: He’s shy at first, but as he warms up, he constantly begs to be petted and shows his belly. Is a sweetheart who enjoys having his butt patted.
* Compatibility with dogs: Investigates new dogs warily when they enter his domain. Is not much interested in dogs who he stays together in the Center but occasionally confronts dogs when they irritate him.
* Compatibility with cats: Finds it difficult to become friendly with cats. Occasionally exhibits signs of aggressive behavior toward cats, thus it is best to avoid any interactions with them.
* Separation anxiety: It is not known for sure as he has not been alone at the Center. Stays very well with other dogs, and occasionally barks inside the kennel to say hi.
* Potty training: : Prefers outdoor potty 100%.
* Hygiene: Accepts baths and drying when with people.☺️ As an active dog, he does not prefer staying in one spot and being brushed. However, tolerates it very well when it is necessary.
* Walking: Enjoys walking and walks in step with the walker without pulling on the leash. Likes sniffing around outdoors and tends to leave marks there!
* Car sickness: There is no car sickness.
💌Special Note💌
* Due to a ravenous appetite, he tends to eat quickly. When eating in a hurry, he occasionally coughs or wheezes, so it's important to help him eat slowly.
* Happy loves treats and will sometimes bite your hand when you give him a treat, so you have to be careful. He can become aggressive if he is given treats in the same space as his friends, so it's best to feed him separately!
* Barks occasionally at outside noises but quickly stops when you call his name.
❗Health Condition❗
* Neutering: Done
* Other: Microchipped, negative for heartworm upon retesting

Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
