HI - I'M SONYA! I'm a 2-year-old fun Pug-Chihuahua mix in need of a forever home! I'm a happy girl who spends my days in a foster home. I would love a forever home where I could be walked, pampered, and given lots of attention and affection. I would do best in a home with people who are fairly active and who can take me for walks and other outings, as I love to explore! I weigh about 11 lbs. Please email for an application.

We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
