Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dobby, the truly, BEYOND lovable boy. We've got NO idea how he's so perfect, all we know is he's a blend of cuteness, gentleness, and cuddlebugness; weighing in at about 35 pounds, complete with the happiest of smiles, and battiest of ears!
Dobby is a sweetheart through and through. He adores affection and is always eager to give and receive love from everyone he meets. Whether he's snuggled up beside you or meeting new doggy pals, Dobby is just a happy little soul spreading joy wherever he goes. But watch out when a ball makes an appearance! Dobby's playful side kicks into high gear, and he becomes a speedy blur of excitement, zipping around with infectious enthusiasm. Need a dog you can trust while you're at work? Dobby is ABSOLUTELY your guy give him a nice bone to chew on, and he'll be as content as can be, keeping himself happily occupied until you return home. This darling guy is ALSO crate-trained, seemingly house-broke, AND knows his basics! Dobby is not just a dog; he's a ray of sunshine, who does well with every kid, cat, dog, person, EVERYTHING. If you're seeking a loving companion who brings warmth, happiness, and endless entertainment, yet chill, relaxed energy into your life, he is the perfect match.

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
