Meet Pugsley, a charming 6-year-old weighing in at 70 lbs. When Pugsley first arrived at our shelter, he was a bit on the shy side, but he’s quickly blossoming into a delightful companion. Although he’s not particularly interested in toys at the moment, Pugsley absolutely adores attention and treats. He is very gentle when accepting treats from people, showcasing his sweet nature. Pugsley is familiar with the "Sit" command, though he could use a bit more practice to perfect it. One of his endearing habits is to express his desire for more food by picking up his bowl and sitting patiently, hoping to catch your attention. If you happen to walk away, he may drop the bowl and from his height, it makes a noticeable clatter. Pugsley is on his way to becoming a wonderful companion, and we’re eager to see him find a loving forever home.

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees for any one of our animals is $70.00 (this includes cost of the spay or neuter). In accordance with local laws, all animals over the age of 12 weeks will be altered prior to adoption at the local veterinary clinic. For animals under 12 weeks of age, vouchers for the surgery cost will be provided at the time of adoption.

We do participate in adoption events around the area from time to time.

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
