My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mavis, a playful 3-year-old female dog looking for her forever home! Mavis loves to be around people and does well with staff when she has some one-on-one time. However, she's not recommended for homes with young kids under 13 and would prefer to be the only pet. She enjoys fun playtime and pets but isn't suited for dog parks. Mavis needs a calm home where she can feel safe and loved. If you think Mavis could be a great fit for you, please get in touch!

My #Boroughbreak Buddy writes: Mavis is a glass half full kind of girl who stands out with her sunny can-do outlook. Then, of course, there are those irresistible little wiggles. She came out for her Boroughbreak, plopped herself down and hopped her front paws up like a hopeful kangaroo ready for adventure! Mavis loves to go and do and walk and sniff as seen by her wagging tail and extremely busy nose. She likes to know what everyone else is doing, but is gentle with her check-ins as she tries her best to plan for what's next. In fact, Mavis was ready to skip herself right into the car but was as equally thrilled to traipse through the field like the star puppy in her Mavis the Musical show. Of all the fun things we saw and did on our Boroughbreak, what stands out most to me is how proud Mavis was to find just the right stick. Plucking it out of the leaves all by herself, she stretched out and happily played, holding it out with her paws and carrying it for good measure.
