Shiloh is about 11 months old and around 10-12lbs. She is shaped like a dachshund with beagle coloring. Shiloh had a tough start with people that kenneled her all the time and just not too nice to her the first months of her life. That has made her scared of new people and new situations. She does not bite but she will run from new people and hide. So a patient home that will let her decompress those first few days is what we are looking for. Once she realizes you are not going to hurt her she is a darling sweet girl. She is still very much a puppy and wants to play and get into things like all puppies. She is great with other dogs and another dog in the home might be just what she needs to show her the ropes. She has not been around kids so small active kids are probably not a fit for her. She will hide from them. We think she will be fine with a cat and probably want to play them. She has not had a lot of leash training so a home with a secure yard would be best.

To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $250 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
