Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** If you are interested in adopting Cali, the first step is to fill out our adoption application here: http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ***
Meet Cali! Cali was found as a stray in Houston Texas. It’s hard to imagine a tiny cutie like this running around on the streets!! Now Cali is coming to Colorado for a fresh start.
Cali is believed to be a Dachshund / Jack Russell mix. She is 1 year old and just 20 lbs.
Cali is a super social girl. She LOVES to cuddles and playing with other dogs. She does great with other dogs, and adores human attention.
From Cali's foster mom:
"I can't stand how cute this little pumpkin is!! She is so small even though her face/head look like it could belong to a big dog! She's got a long body and short legs and did I say she is ADORABLE!?
She gets along so well with my dog.
She is a perfect angel, potty trained, so snuggly, and just such a sweetheart. 10000/10 dog right here!"
Farfel's Rescue is a huge believer that dogs will thrive with training.
A positive reinforcement/force free training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence for a little gal whose self-esteem will fly high while she masters her skills. Farfel's feels so strongly about a training opportunity for every dog that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't choose to make this loving choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement/force-free virtual or in-person trainers in your area.
Cali is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, and has been fully checked by a vet.
Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.
Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year.
Cali is available for adoption now! Applications are being accepted for this loyal best friend and can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit.
**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder, Rescueme and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
