My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweetheart is Pretty Pearl aka Couch Potatoe! She has been living as an outside dog and was very skinny, covered in fleas and ticks when we got her. Oh boy she came to stay with us and decided being an inside dog is pretty swell! We have not had one accident from her and she doesn’t even want to go out in the fenced yard, she wants to run right back inside! She is fabulous on a leash and would even be a great apartment dog as she is laid back, quiet and under 35 pounds! Good with cats and other low key dogs! A quiet home would be best for her in her retirement years, though she is still very playful. We are thinking she’s about 6-7 years old and a Beagle X Blue Heeler.

Donation
Since ALL of our funding is from donations (we are not supported by a government agency), fundraising and a few spay/neuter grants, we always need monetary donations and food and supply donations including straw and bedding material. With winter coming we could really use some more dog houses and tarps (used is welcome). Used crates are also always needed. Pick up can be arranged within a reasonable distance. Thank you for your support.
