Meet Deena!

Deena was lovingly left on our doorstep early one morning with a note explaining that her previous family could no longer care for her. This sweet girl is understandably a bit confused by all the changes, but her gentle nature is shining through. Deena is spayed and fully vaccinated and ready for a new, loving forever home.

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

2.
Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
