Hello! My name is Betty (but you may call me Miss Betty). I came to the Humane Society as a stray, but unfortunately, no one came forward to claim me. Everyone at the Humane Society is very surprised that no one come to get me, because I am a very good girl! I know commands and I love to cuddle! My favorite spot in my future home, is going to be right next to (hopefully) you! Come by the shelter and get to know me! What do you have to loose?

We require an adoption application be filled out (can be done on-line). Allow 3 business days to process. Contact the shelter to check on status of application. Upon approval fees are $75 for a cat and $125 for a dog which includes vaccinations, altering . Renters need to demonstrate approval of landlord to have pets. Home visit may be done at the discretion of the shelter. Our adoption contract specifies adopters must comply with local animal ordinances and have pet neutered if not already done. Animals must be returned to us if owner is no longer able to care for them
