My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Special Adoption Offer: Half-Off Adoption Fees!

In loving memory of her mother, Gail Suter—a true animal lover—one of our wonderful adopters has generously sponsored half of the adoption fees for five of our longest residents. These amazing dogs—Sprite, Chic Pea, Big John, Tank, and Indie—have been waiting patiently for their forever homes, and now it’s their turn to find a family to love.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, now is the perfect time to adopt. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to give a deserving dog a second chance.Meet Big John, an adult Coonhound with a heart as big as his name. His personality is a delightful blend of sweetness and curiosity. He's a cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up after a day full of adventures. Big John is friendly to everyone he meets, and his energetic nature makes him the perfect companion for active individuals or families. His curiosity keeps him eager to explore new environments and learn new tricks. Big John's endearing qualities make him an ideal pet. Adopt Big John, and let his love and companionship brighten your life.

Please Note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption.

All our dogs/puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, given flea medication, heartworm tested, and given a microchip before going to their new home.
